DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibilities of the Human Resources Department include: administering the City’s Health Insurance Plan for employees and retirees, coordinating the Employee Assistance Program, FMLA, COBRA, death benefits, wage reporting, unemployment, seasonal hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and assisting in collective bargaining matters.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The EAP program provides employees with no-charge counseling in a variety of areas through Behavioral Health Partners of the St. Louis BJC Health System.
